Last night I saw Metric. It was nothing short of a dream come true. I've liked Metric since I was a Junior in high school. That was six years ago. I can probably count the things I liked then that I still like now on one hand. This show has been a long time coming. Emily Haines is a music goddess and has such amazing presence on stage that it's hard to not want to be her or be her friend. I'm still feeling a post-game happiness buzz and it was almost a full day ago. In short, that was one of the best shows I've ever been to or may ever be to. Given the opportunity, I would easily spend twice what I did to see them again. |

I feel like such a creep checking LiveJournal in the library.
I'm graduating in six weeks. I just need to truck through a few final assignments.
I no longer recognize anyone when I'm on campus, it's such a rare treat to bump into someone I know. </old>
I'm seeing someone. S-E-R-I-O-U-S: it's something serious.
I only went out once this past weekend do to low funds, it was kind of weird.
I went to the beach on Saturday
I've been playing Resident Evil 5. Whose idea was it to give zombies machine guns? Genius.
I took a really cute picture of Colby that I need to scan, and another one of Phoebe I still need to print.
I am going to stop procrastinating now, I need to finish my CCNY application (Jenny you should look into this program for next year)
Moving in two months. Excited---but slightly terrified. |

| Another Christmas Miracle! |

I fucked my hair up, really really bad. I might shave my head. It's been a long time. If I do, I'll probably wait until I go home again to do so, and have someone do it, and we can turn it into an experience. I miss urrybody at home. Well not urrybody, but a lot of bodies. Mostly the people I have on my top friends on MySpace. Yes, I actually said that.
Academically, I'm doing quite well this semester. At least I think I am. I've been my normal self about procrastination, but I actually have been accomplishing things. I have my first midterm in a little over an hour, I'm hoping I'll get an A on it, I'll be pissed if I don't. My grades for my seminar have been promising as well, but I'm not proud of anything I've written for it. As far as anything else, I've been asked to conduct my Animation class in my professor's absence tomorrow. It isn't anything major, just playing tapes and taking attendance, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't flattered when I was the one asked to do it.
I'm pretty sure this is the most balanced I've ever been. Bo-ring.
